डॉ भीमराव अंबेडकर का जन्म 14 अप्रैल 1891 को महू, इंदौर जिला, मध्य प्रदेश में हुआ था। ये “बाबासाहेब” के नाम से भी जाने जाते हैं। अंबेडकर जी उच्च कोटि के दार्शनिक, समाज सुधारक, क्रन्तिकारी होने के साथ भारतीय संविधान के रचनाकार भी हैं।
भारत रत्न से सम्मानित भीमराव अंबेडकर ने समाज में ऊंच नीच को सुधारने में काफी योगदान दिया। इनका जीवन बहुत ही संघर्ष पूर्ण रहा और इन्होंने भारत को सामाजिक, राजनैतिक, आर्थिक क्षेत्रों में अविस्मरणीय योगदान दिया इसीलिए इनको “आधुनिक भारत के निर्माता” भी कहा जाता है।
6 दिसम्बर 1956, को धरती माँ के इस सपूत की जीवन ज्योति हमेशा के लिए लुप्त हो गयी लेकिन लोगों के दिलों में वो आज भी जिन्दा हैं और समाज के लिए एक आदर्श पुरुष भी हैं। आइये आज हम बाबासाहेब के कुछ सुविचारों पर प्रकाश डालते हैं :-
